Q."What is your telephone number?"

A.Our toll free telephone number is 877-343-0030.

Q."What are your business hours?"

A.Our business hours are Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time (excluding holidays). We operate on the same schedule as the United States Postal Service (when the post office is closed, so are we). Our web site is "open" 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days a year. Our busiest day of the week is Monday (and especially after a holiday). On those days, we sometimes are not always able to reply to all e-mails within 24 hours. Our first priority is always to our current customers. Therefore, Mondays might be slower than normal with replying to your e-mails which are not related to a current order, etc.

Q."Are online orders processed faster than when orders placed by phone?"

A. Yes, orders placed online are already in the system so they are received in minutes via our secure server, processed and sent to the warehouse for picking. Orders placed by phone are taken manually, then entered into the computer system and sent for processing. For faster service, please order through our secure website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Q."How do I find out how much shipping is on an item(s)?"

A. Simply add the desired item to your shopping cart and proceed to our Secure Checkout. The various shipping methods and rates can be found at the bottom of the page in the drop down menu.

Q. "I placed my order today, when will you ship my order?"

A.Most orders are shipping within 1 to 2 business days (Monday - Friday), excluding holidays. We take great pride in our customer service, but Monday's can be overwhelming; and it might take slightly longer than normal. Generally, USPS shipping takes about 2-5 postal business days from the date we ship. Please order well in advance if anticipating orders to arrive for Christmas. We can control how quickly a product leaves our warehouse but we cannot control how long it takes the individual carriers to deliver your products (especially during peak holidays and Christmas). We are not perfect, but we go way out of our way to make sure that your order ships as we promise in your confirmation e-mail. You will find that we will never lie, twist the truth or intentionally misrepresent anything. We do what we say we will do.

Q."Why should I buy from you?"

A. Because we have great products, service and we are very easy to deal with. Our shopping cart is very easy to use and our web site is "user friendly". Our products are delivered right to your door, or directly to a gift recipient, so there no running around, no waiting in line and for all states except Florida and Massachusetts, you save the sales tax. Q."What types of things will prevent my order from being processed right away?"

A.Answering No to any of the following questions can cause your shipment to be delayed.

  • Did you tell us what color to ship?
  • Did you provide all 16 digits of your Visa, MasterCard or Discover credit card account number? American Express only has 15 digits. Is the expiration date valid?
  • Does your credit card billing information match where your monthly statements are mailed?
  • Did you provide an accurate telephone number where we can reach you (we do not solicit or sell your information). This is for order purposes only.
  • Did you provide a valid email address so you can receive your order confirmation and shipping notification?

Q."If there is a problem with my order, will you notify me?"

A. Yes, we will notify you by phone, email or both to let you know if any problems arise provided we have the correct contact number and email address.

Q."Will I receive a confirmation of my order?"

A. Yes, you will receive a confirmation of your order at the email address provided at the time you placed your order. If you provided an invalid email address or made a typographical error when providing this information on your order, unfortunately, please realize you will not receive a confirmation. Please be sure to check your SPAM folder too because sometimes business email gets labeled as SPAM even if it isn't.

Q."Will I receive a shipping notification?"

A. Yes, you will receive a shipping confirmation email at the email address provided at the time you placed your order. Please note, these emails are sent by a human, not a computer, as such, they may not arrive until the day after your order has shipped. If you provided an invalid email address or made a typographical error when providing your email address on your order, you, unfortunately, will not receive a shipping notification. Please be sure to check your SPAM folder too because business email gets labeled as SPAM even if it isn't.

Q."If you ship the correct products (as stated on our web site) and I simply change my mind and wish to return the products will you pay the shipping charges back?"

A.If we make a mistake, we certainly will make every effort to correct it in an expeditious manner, but if you simply change your mind or don't like something, than shipping back an item would be at your own expense. Please read our return policy for a more detailed explanation if this is of concern to you.

Q."Are you people reputable?"

A.We have been in the business since 1991 and selling online since 2003.

Q."Do you have a catalog?"

A. Yes, (laughs) you are looking at it. Please feel free to print out any page you like. We do not offer a printed catalog mainly because our product selections change so frequently that a printed catalog would be outdated almost immediately resulting in unhappy customers. We want you to be satisfied, so we do the best we can to keep our site updated on a daily basis.

Q."Do you sell my personal information?"

A. No. We respect and guarantee your privacy. We do NOT sell, give, or share your personal information with anyone. We do enter your e-mail address into shipping software so that you will be notified of a shipment.

Q."Do you sell wholesale?"

A.No, sorry, we do not wholesale our products.

Q."How risky is it sending my credit card number over the internet?"

A. U.S. News & World Report, December. 7, 1998, Page 44 had an article titled:
"A credit card is your best weapon on the Web." Here are a few quotes from it: "...it's no surprise some people fear their credit card numbers are vulnerable in cyberspace. But that belief is unfounded. When it comes to buying products and services on the Internet, the credit card is the best method of payment because it provides the most protection to the consumer... Federal law guarantees that cardholders are liable for only the first $50 in fraudulent charges if the number falls into criminal hands - though there are no reported incidents of numbers being grabbed en route to an online store... If you still don't feel comfortable, by all means, please give us a call.

Q."I'm a repeat customer. Why do I need to re-enter my personal information each time I make a purchase from you?"

A. We take extreme measures to make sure your credit card number and other personal information is secure. Therefore, once we've completed your order, all personal information is removed from our servers. We understand this may be an inconvenience to some, but peace of mind knowing your personal information is safe is absolutely critical, and we believe it's worth the trade-off.

Q."What countries do you ship to?"

A. We ship to the United States and all its territories. If you are ordering from Canada or from abroad, please request a shipping quote prior to ordering. The shipping rates posted on the web site are for US destinations only.

Q."Your name is L.A. Fashion. Are you located in California?"

A. No, the idea was born in L.A. but we are now located in Florida. We originally sold just handbags and we were called L.A. Handbags. Then we expanded our line to include leather wallets, eel skin products, etc., we then became L.A. Fashion.

Q." Do you have a brick and mortar location?"

A.No. Currently, we offer our products online or via telephone orders.

Q."How do you get new customers?"

A.Most of our business comes from word-of-mouth customer referrals. If you are happy with us, please tell your friends. If you aren't, please tell us.
